This shirt is handwoven from exceptionally fine khadi cotton using the traditional Jamdani technique, a process known for its precision and artisanal depth. The body of the fabric is defined by subtle, balanced checks woven directly on the loom, giving the shirt structure while retaining its lightness and breathability.
Along the bottom hem, the design transitions into a Jamdani border extending approximately six inches. Here, intricate Jamdani motifs are hand-inserted thread by thread, creating a delicate contrast between the checked body and the ornamental edge. This placement adds visual weight and refinement without disturbing the garment’s overall fluidity.
